Answering the call to reach people of the Mid-Ohio Valley and loving people through excellence in serving. Ephesians 4 says we’re all equipped to build the church so that believers can grow in unity and maturity in their faith. We truly believe God made you with a purpose, and serving is a great way to discover it and live it out. There are many serving opportunities at Freedom Gate, no matter where your gifts and interests lie, there’s a place for you on Team FGC.

Serving Teams
Grunt Team
The “Grunt” team manages, maintains, and enhances the church grounds and building, stewarding the property God has provided. Serving on the Grunt team includes regular maintenance such as mowing and landscaping as well as special building projects and seasonal work days.
Grow Team
The “Grow” team provides a safe and loving environment where children come to know the love of the Father, see Jesus as their Savior, Lord, and King, and encounter the power of Holy Spirit.
Opportunities to serve as teachers, teaching aids, and check-in assistants for ages 18 mo. – 10th grade.
Go Team
The “Go” Team increases the engagement and connection of the people of FGC with international, national, and local ministry opportunities so that the world around us is changed by the gospel
Connect Team
The connect team fulfills the needs and expectations of our guests and church family by welcoming and making them feel at ease so they may experience the love of God from the moment they enter the parking lot. The connect team includes greeters, parking crew, ushers, and the hospitality team.
Care Team
The “Care” Team demonstrates Christ-like love to those in the church body by being alert to the needs of the people and meeting those needs in practical, tangible ways.
Serving on the care team can take many forms such as providing transportation, delivering home-cooked meals, visiting those in need, and more.
Tech Team
The Tech Team works behind the scenes to facilitate effective communication during Sunday services and other corporate gatherings. Serving on the Tech team includes running sound, operating a camera, facilitating projection, as well and live-stream and other multi-media efforts.
